Got Thoughts on Rapid Evaluation for our Fast-Paced World?

Cates, Brill, Patton, Reeves, Merriam, and ASTD have had the greatest influence on me as an evaluator. I'd like to add some other voices to our Lehigh graduate course discourse on formative, effectiveness, and impact evaluations. Anyone with any rapid evaluation tips to share?

Like Patton, I can certainly see why some rapid evaluations with real-time data are deemed sloppy. In your efforts to help leaders and practitioners make decisions  to improve teaching and learning, how have you avoided sloppy evaluation planning, data collection, and reporting? How do we create reports that people actually review with data they can use?
